Delivery and Allocation
Once the scooters container has arrived at Iraq’s harbours, our dedicated volunteers there, led by Dr Kadhim Alamara, work on the clearance of the container and transfer the scooters to a workshop in the City of Babylon, middle of Iraq. Then the allocation and distribution process starts. Families, relatives or friends of eligible recipients, usually accompanied by the recipient themselves, will attend at the workshop and receive short training on the safe use of the scooter before they collect the scooter and leave with incredible happiness and excitement.
